Jan Murray is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, A.C.E. Personal Trainer, and Kripalu Yoga Teacher.
With 35 years experience in sports, health and fitness training, her passion for teaching and her strong motivation continues with her studies in therapeutic yoga and holistic health.
Toni strives to create a comfortable, safe and fulfilling practice for all yogis by teaching essential yoga postures, providing clear alignment instruction and guiding them on their journey towards connecting the mind, body and spirit.
She received her 200 hour yoga certification at Unplug and Be Mindful in Marshfield, MA and is also a professor in the Theatre Department at Bridgewater State University
Jane Bowler has been teaching individual and group exercise as a fitness instructor, coach and personal trainer for over 30 years. She brings her vast knowledge of the human anatomy combined with movement to assist people in restoring flexibility and their quality of health. She has studied Tai Chi, Qi Gong, various yoga styles and Feldenkrais movement. Jane also holds a license as therapeutic massage therapist specializing in chronic conditions for over 20 years helping people to restore body alignments and overall health.
Joy Kingsbury MS OTR/L, RYT-200
Starting her practices in the Iyengar tradition and then discovering Vinyasa yoga, Joy’s teachings are rooted in attention to physical alignment, connection to breath, discovering stillness within and playfulness! Joy holds a masters degree in occupational therapy and has great interest in wellness and self care practices. Joy incorporates therapeutic yoga, mindfulness exercises and her love of neuroscience and anatomy into her yoga classes. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years working at several south shore yoga studios and leads meditations within the recovery community.
She received her 200 hour yoga certification from Open Doors in 2005. Her most important role is a mom of three young children whom are her greatest teachers.
Cristóbal Márquez is a citizen of Chile and Italy. His dance training began at the Teatro de Municipal de Chile and the University of Chile. He came to the United States at the invitation of Houston Ballet and later had professional dance contracts with Colorado Ballet, Columbia Classical Ballet, and as soloist with Nevada Ballet Theatre. Mr. Marquez went on to guest for Roswell Ballet Theatre, Queen City Ballet, Ballet Fantastique and Denver Ballet. Representing the Republic of Chile at the Lincoln Center in N.Y.C. In 2005, he danced the pas de deux from La Fille Mal Gardee.
Kathy Needleman began her Dance Fitness career trained as an instructor for “Aerobic Patterns, Inc., The Aerobic Dance Specialists. “Loving what you do” defines her passion and dedication to the sport. Kathy’s high energy is contagious in her classes. She connects with her students by teaching a progressive program that is filled with today’s pop hits, oldies, country and swing music. Designed for the non-dancer, her dance routines are cued and easy to follow. It’s all about having fun! Kathy’s class mixes all varieties of music and routines. There’s something for everyone from the warmup to the cooldown dance. Her commitment to excellence is inspiring and as the saying goes…..”There’s always a reason to Dance”!!!
QI GONG INSTRUCTOR
Patty Gage is a Certified Qi Gong Instructor through Dr. Aihan Kuhn, Qi Gong/Tai Chi Master, at Chinese Medicine for Health. She has been practicing Qigong for 10 years and teaching for more than 2 years at Angels of Light. Patty was introduced to Qi Gong in 2007 by David Silver, a certified YMAA Qi Gong instructor on Cape Cod, MA and continues to practice with him and teach his class in his absence.
